Meet the Founder
Bryan McColgan is a board certified endocrinologist and internal medicine physician who completed his undergraduate and fellowship training at Stanford University and his medical school and residency at Columbia University.
As a gay man, he has been active in LGBTQ+ groups in school and professionally, and he is currently on his first journey to fatherhood through surrogacy in California with his husband.
Bryan started BabyMoon Family to provide objective, actionable information for queer intended parents (IPs) that allow them to ethically create their rainbow families through assisted reproductive technology (ART).
What is a babymoon?
A babymoon is the honeymoon-like vacation that intended parents take before the birth of their child.
This company is called BabyMoon Family because we want to help queer people who are having children through assisted reproductive technology (ART) to really enjoy the process.
This time of family planning can be challenging from a logistical, financial, and emotional perspective, and the hope is that BabyMoon Family can provide essential information and support to help queer intended parents enjoy the journey.
